Stories shaped by people, culture and experience
Florence Chinenye Akubuilo is a Nigerian-Igbo novelist, legal practitioner, academic, and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Jos, Plateau State, and originally from Anambra State, she draws inspiration from the people, cultures, landscapes, and experiences that have shaped her journey.
For Florence, writing is more than a profession—it is an innate creative impulse. She uses storytelling to reinterpret her surroundings, explore human experiences, address societal issues, and, at times, humorously expose the shortcomings of society.
Her writing is distinguished by a descriptive approach that brings people, places, emotions, and experiences vividly to life.
